About Us
The TR4 Search and Rescue Association is a volunteer-based, motorized search and rescue organization established to support rapid, safe, and effective disaster and emergency response. Our volunteers operate specially equipped 4×4 off-road vehicles, ATVs, UTVs, enduro motorcycles, and jet skis, enabling us to reach remote and difficult-to-access areas quickly and efficiently. Through this unique operational capability, we contribute to search and rescue operations, reconnaissance, logistics support, and initial emergency response in challenging environments.
Recognizing that operational excellence begins with well-trained personnel, the Association places a strong emphasis on the continuous development of its volunteers. Members are encouraged to complete AFAD training programs, First Aid certification, and the General Directorate of Forestry (OGM) Forest Volunteer Training, while regularly participating in field exercises, operational simulations, and disaster response drills. These activities ensure that our teams remain highly prepared, disciplined, and capable of operating effectively within multi-agency response frameworks.
Working in close cooperation with public authorities and partner organizations, the TR4 Search and Rescue Association is committed to strengthening Türkiye's motorized volunteer search and rescue capacity, promoting disaster preparedness and community resilience, and providing sustainable support to the nation's disaster and emergency management capabilities.
Who We Are
The TR4 Search and Rescue Association is a volunteer-based, motorized search and rescue organization composed of operators of specially equipped 4×4 off-road vehicles, ATVs, UTVs, enduro motorcycles, and jet skis. We are dedicated to supporting disaster and emergency response by providing rapid access to remote and difficult-to-reach areas, where we contribute to search and rescue operations, reconnaissance, logistics support, and initial emergency response.
Through our trained volunteers, specialized vehicle fleet, and coordinated operational approach, we work in close partnership with public authorities to strengthen disaster preparedness, enhance emergency response capabilities, and promote community resilience across Türkiye.
Our Areas of Activity
TR4 Search and Rescue Association conducts professional search and rescue operations in challenging and hard-to-reach environments using 4×4 off-road vehicles, ATVs, UTVs, and enduro motorcycles. Through our trained volunteers, we provide rapid, coordinated, and effective response during disasters and emergencies, with the objective of minimizing loss of life and supporting emergency operations.
