Our Mission
As the TR4 Search and Rescue Association, our mission is to prepare volunteers who operate specially equipped 4x4 off-road vehicles, ATVs, UTVs, enduro motorcycles, and jet skis for disasters and emergencies, enhance their capabilities through continuous training, and contribute to search and rescue, reconnaissance, logistics support, and initial emergency response activities in coordination with public authorities.
Through our strong volunteer network and motorized response capacity, we strive to provide rapid and effective access to remote and hard-to-reach areas, helping strengthen community resilience and contributing to Türkiye's overall disaster preparedness and response capabilities.
Our Vision
Our vision is to become one of Türkiye's leading, trusted, and professionally managed non-governmental organizations in the field of motorized volunteer search and rescue. We aim to build a highly trained, disciplined, and rapidly deployable volunteer network that contributes to national disaster and emergency response capacity through its exceptional mobility and operational readiness.
By fostering strong partnerships with public institutions, non-governmental organizations, and volunteers, we aspire to establish an effective and sustainable model for disaster management while contributing to the continuous improvement of disaster preparedness and emergency response across Türkiye.
About Us
TR4 (TRACTION RESCUE 4X4)...
TR4 Search and Rescue Association is a volunteer search and rescue organization composed of users of specially equipped 4x4 off-road vehicles, ATVs, UTVs, enduro motorcycles, and jet skis, dedicated to disaster and emergency response activities.
Our members have successfully completed AFAD Disaster Awareness Training, AFAD Volunteer Training, and the General Directorate of Forestry (OGM) Forest Volunteer Training. They also possess the knowledge and practical experience required for safe driving and deployment in challenging off-road and rugged terrain conditions. This enables them to reach remote and difficult-to-access areas rapidly, providing support in search and rescue operations, reconnaissance, logistics, and initial emergency response through a highly capable motorized structure.
With its specialized vehicle fleet and motorized volunteer network, the TR4 Search and Rescue Association represents a unique organizational model that differs from conventional search and rescue teams. Thanks to the strong connections our members maintain within the off-road, ATV, UTV, enduro motorcycle, and water sports communities, a large number of specially equipped vehicles and experienced volunteer drivers can be mobilized within a short period through volunteer call-outs during disasters and emergencies, operating under the coordination of the relevant public authorities.
Our association encourages its volunteers to participate in First Aid Training, AFAD training programs, OGM Forest Volunteer Training, and other disaster preparedness courses. In addition, we regularly organize training sessions, field exercises, and simulation drills to strengthen teamwork, operational readiness, and coordinated response capabilities.
Working in cooperation with public institutions, the TR4 Search and Rescue Association is committed to building a trained, disciplined, and rapidly deployable motorized volunteer search and rescue force. Our mission is to contribute to Türkiye's disaster response capacity while promoting disaster awareness and preparedness throughout society.

To achieve this mission, we work in close cooperation with public institutions, local authorities, and other non-governmental organizations. We are committed to continuously improving the knowledge and skills of our volunteers, promoting disaster awareness throughout society, and making a sustainable contribution to strengthening Türkiye's disaster preparedness and emergency response capabilities.
